Richard Bartle is a writer, and game researcher. He created a famous game called MUD, MUD 1, and MUD 2.

 So he created MUD, Multi-User Dungeon, and he recieved some awards, The Pioneer award. and The Online Legend Game Award.

In this image, the game is titled The art of Persuation, he was not very satisfied with the design of the game because he did not like a lot of violence and prisons in it.
